Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance

Accepting Letters of Intent (LOIs) for the 2024 Schreiber Research Grants Program. OCRA is the largest global charity funding ovarian cancer research.

2024 Research Funding Opportunities:

• Collaborative Research Development Grants (up to $300,000 annually for 3 years totaling $900,000) provide funds for ovarian cancer and/or related gynecologic cancers research projects that involve several investigators within one institution or collaborations between groups in multiple institutions.

• Microsoft AI for Health/Collaborative Research Development Grants (up to $300,000 annually for 3 years totaling $900,000) provide funds for ovarian cancer and/or related gynecologic cancers research projects using AI that involve several investigators within one institution or collaborations between groups in multiple institutions.

• Early Career Investigator Grants (up to $150,000 annually for 3 years totaling $450,000) are for investigators in their first academic faculty appointment with a strong commitment to an investigative career in the field of ovarian cancer and/or related gynecologic cancers research. This award is open to clinician-scientists and Ph.D. scientists and OCRA intends to prioritize funding for at least one clinician scientist.

• Mentored Investigator Grants ($75,000 total – may be used over 1 or 2 years) fund post-doctoral trainees working in ovarian cancer and/or related gynecologic cancers research groups or those currently enrolled in a fellowship program. This year OCRA intends to prioritize funding a project related to Cancer Control and Population Sciences (CCPS).

Eligibility:

OCRA’s Schreiber Research Grant Program supports postdoctoral fellows, early career independent investigators, and teams of experienced investigators. International applicants are welcome to apply. NEW for the 2024 Grant Cycle – accepting applications with research projects focused on ovarian cancer as well as other related gynecologic cancers research.
